Wahsega’s simple IP intercom solution is designed for easy installation and quick programming.

ATLANTA, GA (March 2, 2018) – Wahsega Labs (Wahsega), the designer and manufacturer of the highest quality VoIP endpoints in the market, has developed a simple system for standalone IP intercom applications.

In a matter of minutes, anyone can easily design and deploy this simple IP intercom system with Wahsega’s VoIP products.

Starting with Wahsega’s Diet IP PBX as the VoIP communications hub, users simply choose which Wahsega intercoms work best for their application. Third-party SIP devices can be added, as well. A PoE switch port or injector is needed for each intercom and the Diet PBX, and system design is complete.

Programming the Wahsega intercom system is just as fast and easy as designing it. Once the Diet PBX has been plugged into the network and assigned a static IP address, it will serve as the communications hub of the system. Each intercom is assigned an extension from the Diet PBX, which enables them to send and receive calls to and from any device on the system. Users can even add paging extensions if they need to broadcast audio to multiple—or even all—intercoms at once.

Because Diet PBX and the Wahsega intercom system provide a standalone solution, end users do not have to worry about monthly costs. After the equipment is purchased, no further fees are required of the user, adding up to a huge savings over time.

To demonstrate how quickly this simple intercom system can be programmed, Wahsega developed a video that can be viewed here.
