Wahsega Labs, Inc. (“Wahsega”) designer and manufacturer of the highest quality VoIP products in the market, is expanding their range of IP security products. Wahsega Labs introduces the new Small IP Display, and expands their line of K-12 Life Security Products.

This LED Display is ideal for visual messaging alerts with the option of scrolling or static text. All text is rendered using Vector fonts, allowing all important messages to be easily read up to 40 meters away. The Small IP Display is fully customizable through simple webpages with industry leading 32,000 color options, customizable fonts, and increased LED resolution. By doubling the competitor’s standard in LED resolution it creates higher space efficiency, and allows for more information to be displayed at any given time.

In addition to visual messages the Small IP Display comes equipped with built-in speaker and microphone, allowing for two-way SIP communication. Every IP Display supports dual registration with SIP and InformaCast®. The Small IP Display is also compatible with a standard panic button to trigger an outbound SIP call to a preconfigured number. This IP Display can power an independent auxiliary speaker up to 20 meters away via PoE cable, effectively increasing the audio coverage without requiring an additional cable home run. Two integrated relays allows building managers to control up to two external devices. In addition, the Wahsega Small IP Display supports the Wahsega Sound Reinforcement Panel. Sound reinforcement brings much more value to the speaker by allowing faculty to use the speaker for projectors, microphone, laptops, tablets and even smartphones instead of having to install expensive independent sound systems.

Installation for the Small IP Display is made simple through Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection and easily programmable via configuration webpages. With its increased functionality, security coverage, and LED resolution this superior platform allows for everyday and critical communication making it perfect for any classroom application, office, and average sized room.
