The Wahsega SIP Alerter combines the flexibility of SIP telephony networks and peer-to-peer capabilities with Wahsega’s system of zone controllers, intercoms and IP speakers to provide customers with a comprehensive and complete two-way paging solution.
The compact SIP Alerter is powered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) and can be mounted just about anywhere indoors, giving the customer complete control over distribution of audio messaging, loud ringing and multicast paging. With a call/panic button input, integrated relay, built-in microphone and the ability to drive an external horn speaker or audio line out, the Wahsega SIP Alerter’s capability is unrivaled.
An available button input with advanced panic button configuration option adds to the long list of features which make Wahsega’s SIP Alerter stand out. The Wahsega SIP Alerter is also far more affordable than industry rivals, selling for an MSRP of $195. It is easily controlled by Wahsega’s recently launched Diet IP PBX.
Typical use cases include both quiet and loud environments such as offices, warehouses, classrooms, restaurants, retail locations and loud machine shops. The Wahsega SIP Alerter can use its own internal speaker, or it can power an auxiliary horn speaker to increase volume of messaging and ringers. With these options and a multiple audio codecs to choose from, users can precisely tailor output to their audio needs. Full duplex communication is made possible via a built-in microphone enhanced by full-duplex audio with Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC). All configurations can be handled with an easy to use web interface. In addition, the Wahsega SIP Alerter is small in size and can mount to any single-gang box for easy installation.
