Available in single-channel and dual-channel versions, each channel of the Wahsega IP Paging Zone Controller operates as an independent audio channel which can be easily configured to function as either an input or an output. This provides for simultaneous broadcasts and multiple configuration scenarios using a single IP endpoint that can be configured to use VoIP, multicasting or unicasting.
Leveraging the power of VoIP, the Wahsega IP Paging Zone Controller can send broadcasted audio and voice messages to analog paging speakers within specified zones and use any SIP-based telephone system to create a large paging network using existing IP telephones. It is powered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) and is perfect for paging applications in school auditoriums, multi-level buildings and retail operations with multiple branch locations. The USA-manufactured internal circuitry has a rugged aluminum housing with three standard 35mm DIN Rail (top-hat) slots for easy mounting in any orientation on bottom or side and can withstand industrial operating temperatures from −40°C to +85°C.
