Recording Custom Audio Script
Requirements: Carina Event Manager, computer with a microphone and speakers, Audacity (free for Mac or PC).
Steps:
- Open Audacity and start a new file.
- Set preferences to Sample Project Rate to 16000 Hz.
- Record your audio on Audacity.
- Export as a WAV file.
- In Carina Event Manager, go to Events -> Audio Files.
- Upload the WAV file.
- Create an Event with the new audio file. You’re ready to go!
Uploading Custom Audio
Requirements: Carina Event Manager, computer with speakers, Audacity (free for Mac or PC).
Steps:
- Open Audacity.
- Open the audio file you wish to use.
- Set preferences to Sample Project Rate to 16000Hz.
- Export as a WAV file.
- In Carina Event Manager, go to Events -> Audio Files.
- Upload the newly created WAV file.
- Create an Event with your new audio file. You’re ready to go!
