Can my Carina system continue operating if the power goes out?
Yes as long as you have UPS backups for your PoE switches. Our system will last 10x times longer than our competitors.
Can my Carina system continue operating if the internet goes down
Yes! Carina is a hybrid system that continues operating even if the internet goes down.
How many paging zones does Carina support?
20 individual paging zones.
Can Carina integrate into our mobile radio groups?
Yes, using an IP Paging Zone Controller, Carina messages can be broadcast to mobile radio frequencies

Carina customers can download the latest firmware from our self-service portal. Please request access to the firmware portal here.

How can I access the Carina Cloud Portal?

Hardware

How does the speaker daisy-chaining work?
With a primary WL-SPKR-22-CAR speaker installed, you can daisy-chain a WL-SPKR-22-2R Second Room speaker from the primary. Both speakers will act independently from each other thus saving up to 50% cable home runs and PoE switch ports. 
How far can you read the text on the IP Displays?
On the large display, it is viewable up to 200ft.
Can you control the flasher colors and blinking speed? How many colors?
Yes, with Carina you can choose blinking speed or a solid color. Currently, 14 colors are available.
Can IP displays only show the time?
The standard state of the display will show time and date but you can send custom scrolling text messages across the display. Each display supports up to 256 characters.
What do I do if my room is too big for one speaker or display?
You can connect an extension speaker to either a speaker or display to extend audio coverage.
Can you call multiple numbers from a ceiling speaker/ display with a panic button?
Yes, with Carina you can program two different numbers to be called depending on how long the button is depressed.
